Versions for every-day use and for vehicle testsThe EDM 1404
electronic diesel fuel consumption measuring systemfrom VDO is
available in two versions depending on the application:• EDM
1404.01 Dual measuring chamber:The measuring system for every-day
use in motor vehicle fleets.• EDM 1404.02 Single measuring
chamber:The measuring system for testing vehicles with extremely
highaccuracy.
Functions
EDM 1404 - Stand alone with compact display
As a rule the compact display is mounted in the drivers eye
range; this can show the following information:
• Current consumption
• Total consumption
• Average consumption
• Distance travelled
• Average speed
• Driving time
Both the current and the total consumption can be displayed
in either mpg or l/100km as well as gph or l/h.
